My Clinic Choices

LIFE Plastic Surgery is currently my number #1 clinic choice. I have a consultation with them the day after I arrive in Korea on August 11th at 10:00 am. What originally drew me to LIFE was Dr. Sewhan Rhee. As mentioned in the previous post I read many great things about him and pretty much had I mind set on him doing my procedures. Unfortunately he's currently back at Grand right now (LIFE claims there's no relationship between them and Grand, but I mean....)

The way he just randomly went back to Grand is really sketching me out. However, the other Doctor there, Kim Jong Ho, seems to be quite good himself. I haven't read as many reviews on him compared to Dr. Rhee but all the ones I read were highly positive. The communication between myself and the English consultant has been great too, she went above and beyond.

When I originally emailed them I basically got a custom 5 page attachment carefully describing all the the procedures I wanted to get, how they would do it, approximate cost etc. I must have been a lucky one cause when my friend emailed them he only got the standard short paragraph reply!

DREAM Plastic Surgery is my 2nd choice. My consultation with them takes place on August 11th at 12:00 pm. I've heard about DREAM in the past but never really paid much attention to them, most likely due to them not offering lips. What put them on my radar was a review by a member of PurseForum. The member in question wasn't just some random, she knows her stuff and did A LOT of research (took a trip to Korea only for consultations). I went back and did my own research, reading reviews by other people before making the final decision of course. I requested to have a consultation with Dr. Park Yang-Soo.

Contacting them was a bit difficult. Apparently one of the English consultants left so all the work had to be done by one person which resulted in emails never being replied back to. Thankfully the member mentioned above left the English consultants personal work email so I was able to contact her and book my appointment.

Backups

If in the extremely low chance something goes terribly wrong with my two choices then I have these as a backup.

Pitangui was originally one of my main choices. I've read both positive and negative things about the Doctor and the clinic itself. The Doctor there is quite known for doing extremely natural results, while that can be seen as a good thing I personally don't want my results to be that subtle. I'm familiar with the English consultant there also which is another reason why they're on my backup list.

JW is another backup. Nothing much to say here except the usual, read both positive and mixed reviews from them. What I found interesting was that during my online consultation they said I might possibly need something else done on my nose (lateral ostetomy). Out of the many clinics who saw my pictures none of them ever mentioned that. If I do have an in-person consultation there I would like it to be with Dr. Suh.

Man&Nature was another one I was interested in. It's a clinic that specializes in male clients only, unfortunately they don't have an English consultant though. I've head the main Doctors English is okay but I wouldn't really feel comfortable going to a place with no fluent English speaker. Hiring a translator is a waste of time too.
