2 month update, future surgeries?

Happy Thanksgiving :)

Chin

Healing from a chin implant is extremely easy, or at least mine was. I never experienced any huge pain or anything. Actually feeling the implant in your chin is really weird though. Sometimes I would have these odd tingly sensations I mentioned in the previous post. Those went away after about six - seven weeks?

My chin isn't numb anymore but I can still ~feel~ something there, almost like my chin is a bit heavy. I only really notice it when I think about it, during everyday life the bottom of my face finally feels normal again for the most part.

I'm really really happy with the results. It looks natural and the shape is so much better! I would have liked the implant to be a tiny bit bigger tho!! Pretty sure I'm done with my chin, unless I wanna play around with minor chin fillers or something. Leaning towards no right now cause I don't wanna risk messing it up...we'll see

B&A pictures can be seen below

Lips

Recovery wasn't easy at all, but once you get past the first hurdles (basically until the stitches are out) then it's fine.

Some days my lips still feel swollen or flared up, besides that I don't really have any other grievances. I can sort of notice the new shape and size. These will take the longest to heal...

Oh, I still can't smile properly it feels awkward. Puckering my lips and doing an extreme duck face still makes my lips uncontrollably twitch too (I was testing to see if they fully worked properly again!). I'm leaving my lips alone I don't have any further plans for them.

Nose

Blowing my nose for the first time post-op felt so DAMN GOOD. Don't ever take blowing your nose for granted . At first my nose was peeling really badly, it was also extremely oily. I never had those issue with my skin before. It's alot better now at least.

I don't notice any scarring with my alars which is a huge relief, since bad scarring is one of the big fears with alar reductions.

The skin under my tip is still kinda hard and feeling has returned to that area.

ok onto the pictures..

Pre-op, 6 weeks post-op, 8 weeks post-op
As you can see my pre-op chin was awful. I never realized how bad it was until I started taking tons of side profile pictures for online consultations. I'm pretty sure the odd shape is from an accident I had as a child. There was a lot of scar tissue in my chin that Dr. Kim removed, and as mentioned before is a reason why this procedure was complicated for me. Pretty satisfied with my side profile atm.

pre-op, 7 weeks post-op

Not that keen on my frontal. One side of my nose is healing faster than the other, the right side (my left).

What I wanna get done next is lateral ostetomy, that basically touches up the bridge of your nose. I want to get my hump removed (it's a lot more noticeable on certain angles) and have that entire area more defined looking.

I'm not sure if I can achieve that all with a lateral ostetomy, really hope I can. I wanna get fat grafting on my forehead too cause why not.

Not sure when I'll be able to go, I just recently quit my job so that makes things kinda complicated!!
